Description:
Dry red wine: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon; 37% Merlot; 10% Cabernet Franc; & 3% Malbec. Oak aged 17 months. Garnet colored, with a nose of ripe berries, and a hint of toast; fine round tannins, an elegant acidity and a long smooth finish; excellent example of a Graves wine.
Awards:
Wine Spectator July 2002 rated the 2000 vintage 90 out of a 100. “Delivers bright plum and cherry character, with hints of vanilla and spice. Full-bodied, with big, round tannins and a sophisticated, rich palate. Very fine indeed. Serious wine for the money.”
